The thing that miffed me the most was the grout. When I finally got to the grout stage I looked at the back and it says right on there "not recommended for polished marble." At that point I just started laughing because that was the one thing that I had bought and these guys sold me stuff that I couldn't use. So, here I go back to home depot. I believe after I was done swearing a little bit I said to myself, "You had one job!"
I had brought in all the dimensions from a professional design and the salesperson calculated about 9 sheets short, and that was with adding in 10% for waste. I didn't think to look at all of this because I wasn't even close to that point in the project yet. I only really care about this just simply because of the last two points I had made.

I will not shop here ever again ! I had 4 issues with my order. I filled out a questionnaire email they sent me after I picked up my order and the regional manager immediately replied to me saying sorry for that. I emailed her back explaining everything that went wrong and I was hoping for a small percentage off of my order or something for having to run 35 minutes back to the store 5 times but she just blew me off. They didn't have the right tile that I wanted (because the salesman ordered the wrong one) so I went to Lowes to get the next best thing. I should've just got everything there ! I received an email at midnight from the assistant manager and all that was in the email was their return policy. I took that as a slap in the face. So now I felt compelled to go to google reviews. What a joke !
The people were friendly, return policy is great, and they do have some beautiful stuff that you can really only find at a standalone tile store like this one.
Let's hope the tile is quality at least.
I purchased some polished marble for my back splash, then bought a bag of grout and mortar from them. The mortar didn't adhere to the wall and the tile, causing it to fall off. Upon reading further into this stuff I was supposed to add some sort of latex additive for an adhesion factor, something in which I hadn't run into before nor did anybody tell me about. I just went to home depot and got stuff that was cheaper and didn't need me to add anything to lay the tile down. That stuff worked out great.
Sales rep was in a big hurry the whole time he was helping me, even though there were maybe 2 other customers in the store. Gave me contradictory information to the how-to videos on their website (told me I don't need to seal slate tile before grouting, told me it's fine to tile over plywood, no polymer admixture needed).
Great store, very helpful for all your tile needs.
The tile that they have are nice and beautiful, but do yourself a favor and get your other materials somewhere else or triple check what they're selling to you. This and do your own calculations.
Was told my order would be in by Friday. Planned my whole weekend around tiling. Called Friday afternoon after not hearing anything all day....apparently my sales rep was mistaken and should have told me my order would not be in until Monday.
So, get your tile from here, but leave the rest to your own mind and experience.
