Pretty much what you'd expect from an Applebee's. Comfortable, quirky decorations, and food was tasty but heavy.
Service was good but we ordered the 2 for $20 and that's where the problem lies. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. The dip was only half full. The entree's we got the standard burger with fried onions. The onions looked like they were put in the deep fryer for 10 seconds. The other entree was the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. The onions were in the same condition even though they are supposed to grilled and it was missing the sauteed mushrooms. So they brought me out some sautmushrooms and they were seasoned and microwaved. So I sent them back with the undercooked onions and the manager assured me he would person cook the and will be back in a minute and a half. How in God's name can u sautee mushrooms and grill a 1/4 of a white onion in less the a minute and a half. So when he brought it out I took one look at it and said I'm good without it. Needless to say it got taken off the bill. They need to screen through there cooks better!!!
I went with my sister for dinner. At first the waiting was rude and very disrespectful. We then spoke to the manager who gave us another server who by the way was awesome. He also gave us free desserts for the inconvenience of having the first waitor who was an ass.
The service was great! They opened the door for us and greeted us and we were also seated right away. I came on a busy night but they still came to us quickly and made sure we were doing well. They served our food so quickly! We didn’t even sit for that long. They also let us know when our food was almost done and ready for us. They had a positive attitude and always smiled and never made us feel awkward. I recommend this spot to everyone!
During my last visit the service was great but the steak was not cooked right. Other times the food has been perfect but the service was disappointing. Inconsistent experience here but will continue to come back
