DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE ANYTHING PERIOD. I had a horrible experience with this company. 1) A family member had died. They stated "we will be there at noon" Instead, after NOT SLEEPING for days, I finally get a couple of hours and bang, the phone begins ringing off the hook with these people beginning at 8 AM - with two phone calls bugging the living hell out of me because they wanted to move the time up. Having been up all night and just trying to catch 3 hours or so of sleep- now that opportunity had passed and I became very stressed. They BROKE A GLASS WINDOW IN THE APT I WAS MOVING FROM, spent and hour taking their sweet ass time with a broom and a dustpan (which would have taken me 5 minutes) and then came to my apt while I was waiting for that half hour to tell me about it, just running that clock down. After damaging a 2000 cloth sofa (despite the RUDE cleaners they sent to try to get the stain out) they stated they COULD NOT GET OUT THE GREASE STAIN THESE IMMATURE 100 lb boys permanently somehow got on the sofa. Then the damage to the furniture and exercise equipment. Told me they thought I was lying. Then they took my microwave out of my apt., disassembled it in a hallway, and lost the nut to make the turntable go around. OMG. Then, I had the internet installer at the new place, I turned my back for a minute to answer a question for him, THEY LEFT MY APARTMENT AND STATED I REFUSED TO SIGN THE BILL AND PAY!!!!!!! I kept asking my front desk security person if he saw them, the internet installer and a relative I had with me who witnessed this disaster and we all stood there completely perplexed. Lies, damaged furniture,.....example, EVERYTHING SCRATCHED 100 year old pristine stuff. Unreal. Damage to the old apartment and the new one, I am still touching up the paint and gouges on the walls. Example: Moving a piece of exercise equipment, half of it was next to a wall in the living room, with a 100 pound antique in front of it, and the other half was dumped in the bedroom, in similar fashion. THEN I HAD TO SET UP MY BED AND TAKE MY MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING OUT OF THE BAGS I PURCHASED TO PROTECT THEM, FIND THE BEDFRAME which was dispersed all over and put the frame, mattress and box spring together myself, just all well, as that had been scratched too. I must add, I warned them about the delicate pieces, the number of pieces, the age of the furniture and value. I am so pissed it is not even funny. They NEVER asked me where I wanted anything, they just dumped it and one kid even said, as he was carrying a TV set, (that got damaged and I spent nearly 200 out of pocket to fix BTW) "I am setting this down it is heavy" turned tail and walked out of the door. My family member and I were stunned -- we just picked it up and put it on the TV stand, where it clearly belonged. This could go on and on. These people are hideous and they SUCK!!!! Do not use this company, ever, ever, ever !!!!!!!
My daughter used two men and a truck Saturday. They couldn't have been stronger, nicer, more polite, friendly, helpful and just all around very nice people to work with! Thank you for hiring such competent and personable people! Will use them again!
Movers left a path of destruction in every room they were in. Furniture was also damaged. Called the manager who was supposed to call me back the next day but did not. Sent 60 photos of the damage to the manager but have not heard back from him. By the way, the manager said he will repair the damage. What the hell! Is he even qualified to make repairs? How does one repair gauges in wood frames and furniture?? Drywall is badly gauged. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! BEWARE OF INEXPERIENCED MOVERS AND BAD, BAD COMPANY.
The movers arrived exactly on time, and there were five men! In virtually no time they loaded, taking care to make certain each piece was protected. At the new house, the same five men unloaded in less than 1/2 an hour and were friendly, happy and careful. Chris K, Mark S, Teraio, Will and James would get my business everytime!
